The Tsokar is known for its size and depth, and is a salt lake situated in the Rupshu Plateau and valley. Pangong Tso, is a high grassland lake in the Himalayas and it is situated at a height of about 4,350 mtr. Nubra Valley is a tri-armed valley situated on the north east of Ladakh valley.
