A Note From Our Founder
I started out as a guide myself, showing visitors around Jaipur - and honestly, that's still the part of this job I love most. Sitting with someone on their first morning in India, hearing what they're hoping to see, and then watching it actually happen for them. That's where Maharaja Trails came from. Not a business plan, just a feeling that Delhi, Agra and Jaipur deserved better than being squeezed into a rushed group itinerary.
We've been at this since 2013, and in that time our small team has planned trips for guests from more countries than I ever expected when we started. What hasn't changed is how we work: no call centres, no hidden add-ons, and someone who actually knows the roads and the hotels involved in every itinerary we send out.
